How to Listen to the Bible in Your Car

When you're on a long trip, it comes in handy to be able to listen to the Bible in your car. You may be capable of doing this already. If not, you can buy the necessary tools at a reasonable price. There are several ways to hear God's Word while you drive.

The simplest way to listen to the Bible in your car is to play an audio Bible through your car's built-in tape deck or CD player. Most cars come with either or both of these, but if your car doesn't, you can purchase a built-in media player at your local Circuit City, Best Buy, CompUSA, or at most other electronics stores.

Another alternative is to play the audio Bible through a boombox. This is a lower-cost method, since a boombox is cheaper than a built-in CD player or tape deck for your car. Also, the boombox is portable, so you can use it elsewhere to listen to the Bible.

A third method is the audio player with Beam-It method. This method assumes that you have a built-in radio in your car, and most cars do. The two devices you will need for this method is an audio player, and a Beam-It. The audio player is what you will use to play the audio Bible. This could be an iPod, portable CD player, or MP3 player.

The Beam-It is what allows you to play the audio Bible through your car's radio tuner. First, plug the Beam-It into your audio player through the standard speaker-output plug. Next, set the Beam-It to one of the available frequencies, and set your car's radio turner to that exact same frequency. Then, when you play the Bible on your audio player, it will play through your car's speakers.
